Apple’s New iPhone 16, AirPods 4 and More Arrive Soon: Here’s the Pre-Order and Release Dates, Pricing and More

If you’re looking to buy your first iPhone, upgrade to the current model from an older one or finally make the switch from Android, Apple has you covered with the latest and greatest iPhone.
With a starting price of $799, all Apple iPhone 16 models are available for pre-order beginning on Friday, Sept. 13. After you pre-order, your new iPhone will be available for delivery or pick up on Friday, Sept. 20.

Where To Pre-Order The Apple iPhone 16
Starting Friday, Sept. 13, the Apple iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are available for pre-order at Apple, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Once pre-ordered, your new iPhone 16 model will be ready for delivery or pick up on Friday, Sept. 20.
Although the iPhone 16 has a starting retail price of $799, retailers and mobile service carriers have trade-in programs available, so you can trade-in your old phone (even if you have an Android device) and get Apple’s newest smartphone at a reduced price. In fact, in some cases, you can even get the new iPhone 16 for free from AT&T and other carriers.
As for tech specs, the two iPhone 16 standard models are powered with the new Apple A18 processor, which is 30 percent faster than the previous iPhone 15. In fact, this new chip is two generations faster than the iPhone 15’s Apple A16 processor for faster app-launching, faster multi-tasking and faster voice search via Siri.
The standard models include a dual camera system at the rear with a 48-megapixel wide and 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 12-megapixel “selfie” camera at the front. The camera system can capture video at 4K Ultra HD resolution at up to 60fps (frames per second).
The Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come in five colors, including ultramarine, teal, pink, white and black.
As for the two iPhone 16 Pro models, both smartphone’s are powered with the new A18 Pro processor for advanced photo processing and increased battery life.
The Pro models include a triple camera system at the rear with a 48-megapixel wide, 12-megapixel periscope telephoto and 48-megapixel ultrawide, and a 12-megapixel “selfie” camera at the front. The camera system can capture video at 4K Ultra HD resolution at up to 120fps (frames per second).
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max come in four colors, such as desert titanium, natural titanium, white titanium and black titanium.
Additionally, all iPhone 16 models are shipped with a new action button, as well as a new dedicated camera button for quick access to the phone’s camera and its settings. Where To Pre-Order The Apple AirPods 4
Aside from the iPhone 16, Apple announced two new models of the standard Apple AirPods with the AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 with active noise-cancellation (ANC). Both models are available for pre-order now at Apple, Target, Walmart and Amazon, while they’re set for release on Friday, Sept. 20.
Starting at $129, the new Apple AirPods 4 feature a more comfortable fit in your ears, while they have enhanced and improved audio — compared to previous models. The tier above model includes the same audio and fit as the AirPods 4, but come with ANC. This is first time this feature is included in the standard model.
Meanwhile, Apple announced new colors for the premium Apple AirPods Max over-the-ear wireless headphones, which are priced at $549. For 2024, the AirPods Max now come in blue, purple, midnight, starlight and orange. The wireless headphones come with USB-C charging instead of Lightning featured on the previous edition.
Available for release on Friday, Sept. 20, the new Apple AirPods Max with USB-C are now available for pre-order at Apple, Target and Amazon.
Where to Pre-Order the Apple Watch Series 10
Along with the iPhone 16 and AirPods 4, Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 10 too. The new smartwatch is now available for pre-order with release on Friday, Sept. 20. Retailers like Apple, Target, Walmart and Amazon are taking pre-orders.
Starting at $399, the new Apple Watch Series 10 comes in aluminum or titanium cases in 42mm or 46mm models with either GPS or GPS + cellular connectivity. It also comes in various colors, like silver, rose gold and jet black.
The new model is flatter with a larger watch face than previous models. This gives users more screen real estate for checking the time, notifications, iPhone controls, health and fitness tracking, fall detections, SOS alerts and much more.
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes in a variety of band types, including rubber, textile and stainless steel.
With a starting price of $799, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in black titanium, which comes in a 49mm watch case, is ready for pre-order at Apple and Amazon with a release date of Friday, Sept. 20. This model was released in 2023, but now comes in a new case color: Black titanium.
All Apple device listed above are available for pre-order and begin shipping on Friday, Sept. 20. You can also choose to have devices available for pick up at your local retailers.
