Kaukauna 81, Hortonville 73

KAUKAUNA – The Ghosts outscored the Polar Bears by 14 points in the second half to rally for the Fox Valley Association win.

Keegan VanKauwenberg led Kaukauna with 22 points. Andrew Jensen scored 18, with 16 coming in the second half. Caden Graff and Brady McMullin added 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Kaukauna, which enjoyed a 23-9 advantage in made free throws.

Riley Mueller scored 18 points to lead Hortonville. Alden Rogers tallied 16 points while Max Chao, Aiden Sweeney and Owen Sipes added 13, 12 and 11 points, respectively.

CLINTONVILLE – Three Irish players scored 20 or more points en route to the North Eastern Conference win.

Donovan Davis nearly posted a triple-double with 26 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists, while Kaden Vandenberg scored 26 points while adding five steals and two assists.

Also leading the way for Freedom (7-0 overall, 5-0 North Eastern) was Drew Kortz with 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Klayton Karaba led Clintonville with 13 points, while Bryar Hagberg added 10.

APPLETON – Luke Oelhafen scored 23 points and Logan Ramczyk had 20 as the Hawks outlasted the Bluejays in a Bay Conference matchup.

Trayveon Lockridge led Menasha with 14 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Bluejays were Josiah Hibbler with 13 points and JC Mukome with 10.

The game was tied at 32 at halftime before Xavier took the upper hand.

OCONTO FALLS – The Comets locked in on defense down the stretch to earn their second road win of the week.

Brady Bursa led Oconto Falls with 11 points, while Jameson Beaman and J.J. Pytleski added 10 points apiece.

Mason Uhlenbrauck and Tarver Trinkner paced the Zephyrs with 17 points apiece.

Also reaching double-digit scoring for St. Mary Catholic were Mason Wagner and Preston Fields with 11 points each.

APPLETON – Avery Werfal and Tay Maass combined for 45 of the Lightning’s points in their win over the Spartans.

Werfal finished with 24 points and Maass had 21 points for Appleton North.
