BOYS BASKETBALL

Whitnall 59, Kaukauna 56

MEQUON – Whitnall overcame a three-point halftime deficit to down the Ghosts at the Rick Majerus WBY Shootout at Concordia University.

Myles Herro poured in 21 points, Jack Lutz added 15 and Cooper Markee 12 to power Whitnall.

Kaukauna was led by Brody McMullin with 15 points on five 3-pointers, and Andrew Jensen’s 10 points.

The loss dropped the Ghosts to 4-2.

Jonah Roehrig missed the game due to an injury and Keegan VanKauwenberg played only a few minutes because of an injury for Kaukauna.

GREEN BAY – The Tigers got scoring from nine players in the first half as they built a 13-point halftime lead in the win over the Vikings at the Sun Drop Shootout.

Ethan Cyra led Wrightstown with 18 points. Kaden Colwell scored 13 and Aiden Humphreys added 10 points.

Mason Staudinger led Valders with 19 points. Will Sieracki was next with 13 points. Lucas Spindler and Gavin Mayer added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

STRATFORD – Drew Bruesewitz scored 25 points and Riley Spindler added 14 as the Tigers topped the Wolves at the Stratford Holiday Tournament.

SHIOCTON – Audrey Weier scored 16 points and Juliana Jacobs added 10 as the Bears pulled away in the second half for the Central Wisconsin Conference win.

Bonduel led 28-23 at intermission before outscoring the Chiefs by 12 down the stretch.

Shiocton was led in scoring by Brenna Beilfus with nine points.
