GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Kimberly 3, Appleton North 0
KIMBERLY – The Papermakers outlasted the Lightning 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 in a key Fox Valley Association matchup.
Leading the way for Kimberly were Ava Reis with 12 kills, Ava Van Vonderen with 10 kills, Emma Tesch with 16 assists, Ava Van Hammond with 15 assists, and Ava Van Camp with 12 digs and six aces.
“Really proud of our team tonight against a tough Appleton North group,” Papermakers coach Carrie Raminger said. “It’s always a battle and we’re happy that our group rose to the occasion. Our setters did a great job moving the ball around and giving us the chance to be successful offensively.”
Kaukauna 3, Appleton West 0
KAUKAUNA – The Ghosts dominated the Terrors 25-13, 25-6, 25-11 in FVA play.
Powering Kaukauna were Madison Tripp with 23 assists and five digs, Ashlynn Vande Voort with seven kills, Delaney Ward with six kills, Hailey Kobussen with five kills, Claire Gerrits with three kills and Lexi Van Elzen with three kills. Boe Kaschner added 18 digs and four aces, and Brenna Matthies had four aces.
Xavier 3, Menasha 0
APPLETON – The Hawks improved to 4-0 in the Bay Conference with the 25-20, 25-18, 25-21 win over the Bluejays.
Sydney Neilitz had 33 assists for Xavier. Grace Hackl had 23 digs. Madison Daley nearly had a double-double with 11 digs and nine kills. Ali Tylinski had eight kills, Rose Kendall had seven kills and Lexi Allen had six kills.
Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Freedom 2
FREEDOM – In a battle of unbeatens in the North Eastern Conference, the Foxes outlasted the Irish 15-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.
Leaders for the Foxes were Alaina Patchett with 13 kills and two blocks, Ellie Hayes with 10 kills, Hannah Uhlenbrauck with 12 kills and two blocks, Sophia Wunderlich with 12 kills, Riley Schmitz with 40 digs, Ava Patchett with 24 assists and 12 digs, and Molly Bixby with 30 assists and 10 digs.
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Wrightstown 1
LUXEMBURG – The Spartans started fast and outlasted the Tigers 25-12, 25-22, 20-25, 25-11 in North Eastern Conference action.
The win moves Luxemburg-Casco to 5-0 in conference and 18-6 overall.
Leading the Spartans were Alayna Deprez with 45 assists and 12 digs, Aubrey Frey with 21 kills, 11 digs and two aces, Ella Vander Velden with 13 kills, 12 digs and three aces, Lauren Lindsley with seven kills and two blocks, and Rylan Kaminski with 13 digs and two aces.
“It was a good match,” Spartans coach Jeffrey Frey said. “A lot of credit goes to Kristine (Pulka-Schuh) and her team. We came out strong in set one and played really well. Credit to them in sets two and three, they responded and dug everything and made us work for every point. I’m proud of how we finished the match off in set four, another good conference win.”

Fox Valley Association Championship
GREENVILLE – Kaukauna won the conference title for the fourth consecutive year with the victory at Chaska Golf Course.
The Ghosts finished with a 325 team total to easily outdistance runner-up Hortonville, which shot 360.
Kaukauna also went 9-0 during the regular-season dual meets.
McKenna Lowe was the tournament medalist with a 73, three shots better than Jaelyn Feller of Appleton East. Charlie Clinefelter and Grace Schomin of Kaukauna both shot 77.

GREENLEAF – Marinette won the team title with a 363 total, while Wrightstown finished in second place.
Kay Lee McClintock of Freedom was the individual medalist with an 85. Kennedy Polomis and Anna Marzahl led Marinette as both shot 89.

KIMBERLY – The Papermakers tied the game in the 72nd minute when a shot by Remington Kreidler deflected off a Cardinals defender and went into the goal.
Fond du Lac had taken a 1-0 lead at 28:27 in the first half on a free kick.
Kimberly outshot Fond du Lac 15-4.
Hortonville 1, Appleton West 1
HORTONVILLE – The Polar Bears got a goal from Noah Rindt in the draw against the Terrors.
Grant Decker had three saves in goal for Hortonville, which has played four FVA matches to a draw this season.
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Little Chute 0
LUXEMBURG – The Spartans’ Reese Barbiaux scored three goals to lead Luxemburg-Casco to the win over the Mustangs.
Lucas Ledvina, Elvin Mendoza and Rylen Hinckley got assists on the goals for Luxemburg-Casco.
Quentin Massart and Carson Koller split time in goal for Luxemburg-Casco but did not need to make a save.
Blake Moberg had 10 saves for Little Chute.
Marinette 2, Freedom 1
MARINETTE – Hunter Schneider and Damien Winterbottom each scored goals and Nicholas Hruska added an assist as the Marines topped the Irish in North Eastern Conference action.
Alec Timper made eight saves in net for Marinette.
