Appleton TSA offer tips for summer travel

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – The Transportation Security Administration in Appleton International Airport is prepared for the influx of passengers.

With the increased amount of people coming through the airport, TSA officials are urging everyone to be prepared to get through the checkpoint safely and efficiently. They advise getting to the airport earlier to give yourself extra time to get your bags through and to board your flight on time.

“So, I really want travelers just to get in that mindset that if you are traveling this weekend, anytime up until Labor Day, we are going to see higher travel volumes at all airports across the country including here at Appleton,” said Jessica Mayle, Regional Spokesperson for the TSA.

One more thing, the Appleton TSA is reminding passengers about the importance of getting a Real ID-compliant driver’s license before the nationwide May 7, 2025, Real ID deadline.
