Ark-La-Tex sports card collectors unite for Shreveport Card Summer Card Show this weekend

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – “If you want a good show with quality vendors, with a lot of traffic, it’s a lot of planning. But, that’s what makes it fun.”

Roberson’s interest spiked after a meeting with two legends.

“I’m a Yankee fan. I met Ron Guidry and Mickey Mantle when I was a kid. They were as nice as they could be.”

Colvin Roberson, like the rest of us, is always on the hunt for cards that represent the athletes, we support.

“You have a favorite player, a favorite team. Joe Burrow and Drew Brees around here. If you have those cards, you’re going to move those cards. That’s who people like. Everyone wants to find a player they like. It can snowball. Then, you can like a million players.”
