Armie Hammer Finally Breaks Silence On Cannibalism Allegations
Armie Hammer has finally spoken out about the accusations of cannabilism against him and the rape investigation that derailed his acting career. During an appearance on the ‘Painful Lessons’ podcast, Hammer said some of the things that have been said about him are “so outlandish.” “They’re like, ‘Yep, that guy ate people.’ You’re just like, ‘What? What are you talking about? Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people. How am I going to be a cannibal?’ It was bizarre,” explained Hammer. On the podcast, ‘The Social Network’ actor said he used the scandal as “a lesson” and hopes that people could “learn what I’ve learned.” In 2021, graphic texts allegedly sent by Hammer were leaked, including statements like “I need to drink your blood” and “I am 100% a cannibal.” This preceded a two-year rape investigation, where a woman claimed he raped & sexually assaulted her during an on-and-off relationship. The charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence but the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor admitted to emotionally abusing some ex-partners.
