Arrest warrant issued for woman tied to Colorado ticket broker business
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – An arrest warrant was issued for a woman in Colorado tied to a ticket broker business.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to 11 News the warrant for Yadgar Talia tied to alleged theft is associated with Ticket Secrets LLC. According to the company’s website, they are a ticket broker service for the Denver area. Multiple people on social media are claiming the company is not refunding them for recent purchases for concerts where they allegedly did not receive the tickets.
The company shared a post on social media on June 28:
“I had a huge family emergency that happened an hour ago and I haven’t been able to get my phone. I am not near my computer.
I am deeply sorry for what has happened and I understand how upset and frustrated people are with me and this situation.
I WILL BE REFUNDING EVERYONE THAT HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS!!”
On July 5, Ticket Secrets then posted the following to social media:
“I have retained legal counsel and to whomever has pending orders, a notice of further processing will be sent. Counsel has advised me to not discuss this until further notice.”
11 News emailed and called Ticket Secrets on Tuesday, but we have yet to hear back.
“Any other victims would need to report the incident to their local law enforcement agency,” a spokesperson for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office wrote to 11 News.
Multiple 11 News viewers brought the warrant to our attention following a story published by 9News in Denver.
