Asheville Downtown Association launches “shop small, win big” to boost local business
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Downtown Association is launching a new program called “Shop Small, Win Big.”
Bank of America is partnering with the association to encourage residents to shop locally, especially after Helene.
The program serves as a way to benefit both small businesses and customers.

If you spend at least $25 at any downtown shop with a winter windows contest poster, you will be entered to win a weekly prize of $500. The business you bought from will also receive $500.

“When you think about Asheville and Western North Carolina we really depend on the tourists and our local residents to come out [and] shop local,” said David Dowd, president of Bank of America in Asheville.
The program runs until Sunday, December 22.
