Asheville police seek public’s help after suspects break into business, shoot at cameras

The Asheville Police Department (APD) is investigating a reported breaking and entering, and the department needs the public’s help in the case.

A press release from APD says officers responded to a business near the 1135 block of Tunnel Road around 4:06 a.m. on April 22 to investigate reports of a glass door being shattered.

When they arrived at the scene, officers located 28 shell casings from inside and outside the business.

“Surveillance footage shows two subjects entering wearing masks, they then began trying to shoot out the cameras,” APD’s release says.
