Ask Alison: What is going on with the Beverage Hill Shopping Center in Pawtucket?

(WJAR) — In this edition of Ask Alison, an NBC 10 viewer has a development question.

Daniel wrote in: “What is going on with the Beverage Hill Shopping Center in Pawtucket?”

The City of Pawtucket told Alison Bologna the development is in the beginning phases of that project as a whole.

Construction is scheduled for three retails spaces that are nearest to Newport Avenue. The rest of the plaza will follow.

The city says half the plaza is in East Providence and half is in Pawtucket. So, all plans have to be approved by both cities, which takes longer.

The city promises to provide an update once the plans for the entire plaza are approved.
