At CES 2025, the world’s largest IT exhibition to be held in Las Vegas on the 7th (local time), Samsung Electronics will unveil five new 2025 monitors differentiated by artificial intelligence (AI) functions.

The smart monitor M9 is a 32-inch size and has innovative AI functions that evolve work, content experience, and viewing environment.

The new product is the first monitor to be equipped with on-device AI. It is also equipped with an ‘AI image quality optimization function’ that provides optimal image quality for content.

In the case of games, AI determines the genre of the game and implements optimal quality for each genre.

Samsung Electronics’ gaming monitor Two Odyssey OLEDs (G8, G6) in 2025 are equipped with the company’s best performance new gaming technology.

Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is the first in the industry to support 4K (3840 x 2160) high resolution and 240Hz scan rate in a 27-type size.

It applies 8 million pixels to 165 PPI (pixels per inch) to achieve very dense image quality.

Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) supports QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution with a size of 27 and supports a high scan rate of 500Hz for the first time on an OLED monitor.

Samsung Electronics will also introduce Odyssey 3D, a 27-inch gaming monitor that provides a three-dimensional experience without 3D glasses.

Odyssey 3D provides users with a three-dimensional 3D experience with lenticular lenses and front stereo cameras attached to the front of the panel. In addition to simple 3D contents, there is also a function to convert 2D images into realistic 3D screens using AI.

For the first time in the industry, Samsung Electronics will introduce the Viewfinity S8 with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 37-type large display.

The 37-type Viewfinity S8 (S80UD) is designed to provide more information at a glance as it has a 4K resolution and a screen area of about 34% larger than its predecessor.

“We will introduce a large number of new monitor products equipped with industry-leading new technologies such as AI, 4K, 500Hz, and 3D at CES 2025,” said Jeong Hoon, vice president of Samsung Electronics’ video display business. “We will continue to study display technology leadership and consumer usage environment to introduce monitors that provide the best experience.”
