Augustana holds dedication for Rydell School of Business
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Augustana University is making strides in shaping the future of business education.
On Thursday, the university hosted a dedication ceremony for its newly-named school of business.
Launched in 20121, the Rydell School of Business is part of Augustana’s strategic vision.
School leaders said this initiative is aimed at building academic excellence and strengthening the next generation of business leaders.
Donors Bill and Ellen Rydell helped make this a reality.
“As we stand here we recognize that this institution is more than just a place for learning. It is a beacon of opportunity, growth, and community. For my family, Augustana has been the cornerstone of our values and aspirations, and this dedication marks a significant chapter in its ongoing narrative,” said the donor family’s representative Janna Rydell.
The School of Business offers several programs including accounting and management.
One of its newest is its fintech program, which is geared towards students interested in financial technology.
