‘Baby Reindeer’ Alleged Stalker Tells Her Side Of The Story
Following the release of Richard Gadd’s hit Netflix series ‘Baby Reindeer’, the alleged stalker on whom it is based, Fiona Harvey, has spoken up. After Gadd made his “true story” of being stalked by an older woman into a Netflix show, the woman who allegedly inspired Martha has come forward. On ‘Piers Morgan Unscored’, Harvey denied that she was obsessed with Gadd and the only “true fact” of the show is that they met in a bar. “He didn’t offer me a cup of tea. Nobody gets anything free from The Hawley Arms. I was in for a meal with a drink of lemonade and I was very, very hungry. I’m diabetic, so very hungry,” Harvey explained on the show. The 58-year-old stated Gadd interrupted her conversation with another barman, saying, “It’s pretty rude to interrupt so he seemed obsessed.” ‘Baby Reindeer’ states Martha sent bartender Donny (played by Gadd) 41,000 emails and 350 voicemails and Harvey called that “completely incorrect.’ “I don’t think I sent him anything. May have been a couple of emails, just jokey banter emails. That was it,” she confessed to Morgan. Harvey confirmed that she did have a reindeer toy growing up, which she mentioned to Gadd, which she feels “inadvertently” inspired the show.
