Bangor Floral business blooms during busy season

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Floral businesses are booming with prom, graduation, and, of course, Mother’s Day approaching.

One local business says even if you have last minute plans or requests, they’ve got you covered.

Business has been blooming at Bangor Floral.

The owner says they’ve just finished a prom request and have plenty more on the way, but Mother’s Day is a favorite for florists.

He says even if you know nothing about plants and want to start a new hobby with mom, you can stop by, and they’ll guide you along the way.

“Business is phenomenal,” said Joseph Langlois, the owner of the shop. “Mother’s Day is one of our biggest holidays. A lot of happy people want to make their mom’s happy, and that’s the business we’re in, making people happy, so I’m excited. We can advise you on the best plants for the best situation. I love plants, a great way to feel connected.”

He says although they’ve been busy, they’re not worried about stock.
