Bears finish unbeaten

LAKE PARK — Bishop Garrigan’s 20th straight victory capped off an unbeaten season for the No. 2 Golden Bears on Friday night.

Garrigan (8-0 overall, 6-0 in 8-Man-2) ran for 235 yards and headed to the playoffs as district champions.

Trayton Cink had touchdown runs of 48 and 24 yards. Tate Foertsch had a one-yard touchdown run and hit Owen Murphy for a 34-yard scoring strike.

Ethan Marso, Isaac DeLange and Kyle Bormann also had touchdowns. CJ McGregor hit Drew Muller with a 13-yard scoring strike. McGregor also had a pick-six.

Keaton Helleseth had two sacks, while Madden Miller had four tackles and Marso had three.
