Bears vs. Commanders injury report: Latest updates, news for Wednesday

The Chicago Bears (4-2) released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 8 game against the Washington Commanders (5-2), which featured some notable updates.

Safety Jaquan Brisker and cornerback Kyler Gordon were the only players who didn’t practice on Wednesday, as they nurse their respective injuries. Brisker remains in concussion protocol (after having missing Week 6) and Gordon is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in that Week 6 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle) and running back Travis Homer (finger) had their 21-day window open as they’re designated for return from injured reserve. They were both limited participants on Wednesday. Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, who suffered a calf injury in practice over in London, was back at practice in limited fashion. Elsewhere, defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and cornerback Terell Smith (hip) practiced for the first time in weeks as they work their way back from injury.
