Bears vs. Packers: Week 18 date and time revealed
The regular season finale has arrived, which means it’s the last game for the Chicago Bears before they break for the offseason. The Bears are set to take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, and the date and time of the game are now official.
The Bears and Packers will kick off on Sunday, January 5th, at noon CT. The Bears (4-12) will try one last time to end their dubious losing streak as they hope to avoid a franchise-worst 11th straight loss. The Packers (11-5) have already clinched a wild card spot in the playoffs, but they can still improve their seed. A win and a loss by the Washington Commanders will net them the 6th seed and a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Otherwise, they will be the 7th seed and play the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bears-Packers games at noon aren’t a common occurrence. According to Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic, this is just the second time the two teams have squared off in the early time slot when playing in Green Bay since 2008. The only other time was in 2019.
