Beats on Bates brings lively entertainment to downtown Kalamazoo for sixth year

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Live music is set to be blaring down Bates Alley.

Wednesday, Kalamazoo is set to welcome back Beats on Bates for its sixth year, starting with a performance from the Kzoo Kittens, according to Downtown Kalamazoo Shops.

Until September, community members can stop by Bates Alley and its neighboring restaurants every Wednesday to enjoy free live entertainment from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

If the weather calls for rain, the party moves to The Xperience, organizers said.
