Best Bet For Friday (July 19th): MLB Predictions

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES VS PITTSBURGH PIRATES

Start Time – 6:40 PM EST

The league’s best team, the Philadelphia Phillies, head into PNC Park to start a series with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night, and they’ll be sending one of their three aces (and the only one who wasn’t an All-Star this season) to the mound, Aaron Nola. The home team, meanwhile, counters with a struggling Martin Perez.

Perez has been flat-out lousy this season, so I don’t like his chances against Philadelphia’s potent lineup. Let’s get greedy and go Phillies on the run line.
