Biggest storylines for Panthers vs. Giants in Week 10
While many eyes will be on the quarterback position, it may be the running backs who take centerstage at Allianz Arena.
We’ll start with the starter in Chuba Hubbard, who is fresh off signing a four-year, $33.2 million extension on Thursday. Hubbard enters Week 10 as the league’s fifth-leading rusher (665 yards), and will have the chance to rumble over a Giants defense that has allowed the most yards per carry (5.2) in the league thus far.
The Panthers may also get a boost from rookie Jonathon Brooks. Canales told reporters on Friday that there’s a possibility the 2024 second-round pick could finally make his pro debut a year moved from tearing the ACL in his right knee.
Oh, and let’s not forget the rookie rusher on the other side either. Tyrone Tracy Jr., who has taken over Big Blue’s backfield, may very well feast on the Panthers—who have relinquished the most rushing yards per game (159.3).
