Billie Eilish announces world tour with a stop in Ohio

OHIO — Billie Eilish announced her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” world tour on Monday, with plans to stop in Ohio.

The tour is named after her new album, which is set to be released on May 17. This will be her third studio album.

The tour kicks off this fall, starting in Baltimore, Maryland on Oct. 4.

She’s only stopping in just one Ohio city. She’ll play at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on Nov. 8. However, she’ll be making some stops in neighboring states. She’ll be in Detroit on Oct. 7 and Pittsburgh on Oct. 13.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 3, with presale tickets available on Tuesday, April 30. A percentage of proceeds will benefit the environmental nonprofit REVERB.

The news on the tour arrived via Instagram, where Eilish shared the album artwork showing the pop singer floating in a body of water after being ejected from a door. In the caption, she wrote that she will not drop singles in advance of the release.

“I wanna give it to you all at once,” she captioned the image. “I truly could not be more proud of this album.”

Eilish worked with her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas on “Hit Me Hard and Soft.” The pair recently took home their second Oscar for their big “Barbie” ballad “What Was I Made For?” In doing so, Eilish, 22, became the youngest person by far to have won two career Oscars.
