The session was conducted as part of a collaboration between Zerodha’s venture capital fund and incubator, Rainmatter, and Sisters In Sweat, a sport and wellness community for women.

“Impromptu AMRAP workout when @sistersinsweat.in were at work. 1 min x pushups,” Kamath said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

The video of the billionaire CEO joining his colleagues for the quick workout attracted a range of comments from social media users.

“Nithin understands this very well, if he keeps his employee active and not boring . They will continue to work and deliver results. At workplace, make the work interesting,” X user Arka Bhattacharjee said.

Another user, Deepak Joshi, asked Kamath if the organisation is providing employees with fitness devices. “Wondering how are you supporting your team’s health with tech? Using gadgets like wearable fitness trackers for heart health or stress management tools?” he posted.

Kamath routinely sets health and fitness challenges for Zerodha employees and provides them incentives. In 2022, he announced a month’s salary bonus for any employee who meets their health and fitness goal set, on 90 per cent of the days of the year.

“Minimum of 350 active calories per day, in any form. Given that most of us are WFH & sitting is the new smoking, turning into an epidemic. We are doing whatever to nudge everyone on the teams & hopefully, they and their families to move daily,” he had said about the optional program.

In February this year, Nithin Kamath had revealed that he had suffered a mild stroke.

“Dad passing away, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking out —any of these could be possible reasons,” he had said. He made his first public appearance since the health setback at the Zero1 Fest.
