Blake Lively Shuts Down Ryan Reynolds Divorce Rumors With 3 Little Words

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still going strong, thank you very much.

The “It Ends With Us” actor indicated that she and Reynolds, who have been married since 2012, aren’t breaking up any time soon, after one Instagram commenter expressed fears to that effect.

“You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple,” the commenter wrote on a recent post from Lively dedicated to Reynolds and his new film, “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Lively shut down any rumors with three little words and an emoji: “Haha they wish 😂.”

Followers of the two were relieved.

“If you guys ever divorce, I’m not believing in love any more,” one person wrote. Another commenter declared: “If they divorced, then love doesn’t exist.”

Blake Lively quickly shut down any hint of discord in her marriage to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds.

Lively has opened up about what makes her and Reynolds so compatible, and she thinks part of it comes down to working in the same industry (even when that leads to the occasional movie-poster faceoff).

“In general, it’s nice to have someone who understands what you’re doing. Especially because our job is so weird – you have to be married to other people, it’s all so strange,” the former “Gossip Girl” star said in an interview on “Good Morning America” in 2017. “It’s never normal, even when you’re both doing it.”

The couple have three daughters: James, 9; Inez, 7; and Betty, 4. They welcomed a fourth child last year, though they haven’t publicly disclosed the little one’s gender.

Reynolds did, however, casually share the name of the couple’s fourth kiddo on Monday at the premiere of the hard-R “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he said. “I want to thank my kids — James, Inez, Betty, Olin — who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that is, the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life.”
