‘Bloomberg Business of Entertainment’ Report Makes Debut.

Bloomberg Audio and Key Networks have launched “Bloomberg Business of Entertainment,” a new 60-second radio report that goes behind the scenes of the entertainment industry’s top stories.

According to a news release, the report features Bloomberg’s Lisa Mateo and Karen Moskow exploring how media is consumed — from movies to music — in addition to focusing on the challenges and struggles of film, cable television, streaming media, social media, and more.

The 60-second spot, distributed daily for Monday-Friday airing, is distributed to radio stations nationwide, including major markets like New York and Los Angeles.

“The entertainment business has always been fascinating to watch, but it has never been at a more crucial crossroads than it is today,” says Head of Bloomberg Radio Syndication Michael Lysak. “The storyline of the industry itself has all of the drama of a Hollywood blockbuster.”

Adds Dennis Green, Key Networks Chief Operating Officer: “Bloomberg’s team continues to add content that interests its listeners with the new Business of Entertainment feature. The team at Bloomberg will bring the stories that make news in this area to light. We look forward to stations adding this important content to their lineups.”
