Boys & Girls Club of Deep East Texas travels to Washington D.C. for youth advocacy event

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) – Two members of the Boys & Girls Club of Deep East Texas share their experiences traveling to Washington D.C. for the Summit for America’s Youth.

A select group of youth from the Boys & Girls Club of Nacogdoches had the incredible opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. The group participated in the Summit for America’s Youth, collaborating with young leaders from across the country to address important issues and generate innovative solutions.

The group was able to make the trip because of the support of the Family Dollar “Think, Learn, and Create” grant.
