Brandon Tan to Join Cosmopolitan and Seventeen as Fashion Director
Brandon Tan is set to join Cosmopolitan and Seventeen as fashion director, marking the first hire from the publications’ new joint editor-in-chief Willa Bennett, who started in her role in September.
“To be developing the style direction for two media brands that reach such a massive youth audience is an incredible opportunity,” Tan said in a statement. “As someone who grew up with an inherent penchant for clothing and style, it’s a role I’ll not only take seriously, but one with which I will have so much fun.”
Tan, who starts in his role on Nov. 11, will oversee the style direction for both publications after three years of styling features and shoots as fashion editor for GQ’s US and international editions. Prior to GQ, he worked as a stylist for brands like Nike and The North Face and magazines including i-D and W.
Tan’s debut cover will be Cosmopolitan’s first issue of 2025, to be released in February.
