Bravehearts goals get better during summer
WORCESTER, Mass. — The Worcester Bravehearts have a busy weekend with games at home at Fitton Field, Saturday one game and a double header on Sunday.
The Bravehearts players all have individual goals for the summer. They all want to improve so when they go back to college they have upped their game.
“My goals for the summer just to get better myself,” said shortstop Joey Rubin. “I didn’t play this year, so I need to get a lot of reps and hopefully ready for next season. And make some new friends and go from there and hopefully win a championship for the Bravehearts.”
“Goals for the summer [are[ getting better every day,” said pitcher Jack Lizewski. “Getting stronger every day getting better on the mound, becoming a better teamate — all those things.”
The Bravehearts play Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Fitton Field.
