Bridgeport Public Schools Hiring For Dozens Of Jobs

BRIDGEPORT, CT — With the school year winding down, Bridgeport has plenty of available public school jobs heading into the summer and next year.

For example, the district has well over 100 elementary, middle and high school teaching positions available, in addition to dozens of athletic and administrative jobs.

It’s important to note that just because a school district is looking to hire for a position, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a new position added to the budget.

It likely is a seasonal job or a vacancy to fill or even to fulfill a mandate, including in the special education program.
