Broncos-Seahawks sports gambling: Best bets for Week 1

Denver Gazette digital sports editor Chris Schmaedeke’s best Broncos vs. Seahawks prop bets:

1. Bo Nix under 205 yards passing (-113)

Why it’s a good bet: Head coach Sean Payton will probably try to establish the run game in a hostile environment. Nix will make some plays but big passing numbers don’t seem to be on the table.

2. Josh Reynolds over 29.5 yards receiving

Why it’s a good bet: The passing yards may not be high but Nix will need a veteran receiver that he can go to when things get crazy. The Seahawks will probably focus on Courtland Sutton so Reynolds will be a good option.

3. Any quarter to end scoreless (+240)

Why it’s a good bet: This game doesn’t seem like a shootout. With the Broncos starting rookie Bo Nix and the Seahawks not exactly being known for their offense, there is a good chance there is one quarter with no points.
