Bucky Irving questionable to play on Sunday

The Buccaneers aren’t ready to make a call on running back Bucky Irving’s availability against the Chargers yet.

Head coach Todd Bowles said, via multiple reporters, that Irving is considered questionable to play on Sunday. Irving missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with back and hip injuries and was not spotted on the field during the open portion of Friday’s practice either.

Irving has not missed a game this season, but only had four carries last Sunday after being listed as questionable to play.

Bowles also called safety Christian Izien (groin) questionable for this weekend. Safeties Antoine Winfield Jr. (knee) and Mike Edwards (hamstring) have been ruled out along with linebacker K.J. Britt (ankle).
