BucStyle: Coachella 2024 fashion
Coachella had a return to basics and paired back desert festival style this year.
Western style and all-black overtook the festival with cowboy hats overtaking the crowds.
Actress Megan Fox was seen with new bright blue hair and an all-black outfit complete with cowboy hat, band tee, thigh high boots and a leather jacket.
Paris Hilton followed Fox’s lead in another all-black ensemble, but alongside the cowboy hat, she wore a flowing black bralette and skirt paired with bold silver chain necklaces.
Another performer taking part in the all-black look, Renee Rapp, was seen in a long trench coat, bralette and wide leg pants.
Her surprise guest Kesha went down the western route with denim cutoff shorts, white cowboy boots and a graphic tee.
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at Ice Spice’s set, wearing all-black with simple tennis shoes, bomber jacket, shorts and a tee.
However, some celebrities did embrace color and funkier looks.
Chloe Bailey wore a skintight, purple athleisure style ensemble, complete with fringed sleeves for her performances.
No Doubt’s lead singer Gwen Stefani embraced ’90s fashion with a performance outfit made of mesh, plaid belts everywhere and bold hair.
Olivia Rodrigo surprised No Doubt’s crowd as the surprise guest and embraced a classic Gwen Stefani look with a 90s updo, red lip, cropped tee and straight leg pants.
Some attendees went very simple and classic with their dress.
Emma Roberts wore a color blocked mint and white shift dress, and Karrueche Tran wore a plain white crochet dress.
Hailey Bieber wore a New York Yankees bomber jacket, bandana, baggy black cargo pants and tennis shoes.
This athletic look could also be seen on Billie Eilish.
Overall, Coachella 2024 saw a return to an easy and comfortable dress for the long performance days, and performers focused on simple fitted looks to allow for lots of movement.
