Bugs with Netflix App on Peloton Entertainment – Peloton Buddy

There are widespread reports of issues with the Netflix app on the Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row.

For many people, the issue appears when trying to open the Netflix app. After attempting to open the app, it will close on itself after a few seconds.

In some other cases – the app has simply completely disappeared, though this may be unrelated to the bug with the app opening.

Following a day or two of reports about this, Peloton has created a bug report for the bugs with Netflix, saying that “Netflix Beta failing to load for some members.”

The last status message is:

We apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently investigating an issue with the Netflix beta on our connected fitness devices.

This bug does not appear to be a global issue, as other people are still able to open and use Netflix as normal at this time.

Peloton is currently also fixing a bug with the custom audio slider.

Netflix is one of the apps available through the “Peloton Entertainment” section of the device, allowing you to watch streaming videos & movies (or read books) instead of taking a traditional Peloton class.
