Business coming to State College to focus on wellness and health

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two businesses have partnered to bring wellness and health to the State College Area and will soon open doors.

Vitality Wellness Club and K2 Roots are opening a location in Downtown State College. K2 Roots features items such as fresh juices, smoothies, protein bowls, and more and has been in the State College area for three years. Vitality Wellness Club provides exercise as well as much-needed recovery. This includes a hyperbaric chamber, Kaqun water therapy, infrared sauna, ice tub therapy, and compression therapy.

“We partnered up to bring everything under one roof in order to bring health and wellness to the community, starting from the inside out,” General Manager of Vitality Wellness Club Leanne Miyasaki said.

The goal of the new place is to provide various services so many don’t have to travel.

“What makes us unique is that we offer services where you could come in and have a workout. You can add assistance, some recovery, come up here and come up to K2, and on your way out you’re able to get a protein bar or recovery juice and a smoothie,” Miyasaki said.

Vitality has a wide range of services and prices, for more follow the link here. For more on K2 Roots follow this link.

Managers said this has been a long two-year process and a rewarding one. They say that many who knew the business before will not be able to recognize the new facility as it’s unrecognizable with a fresh new start.
