Business curfew could soon be coming to SF’s Tenderloin: Here’s what mayor proposes
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Some retail stores in San Francisco’s Tenderloin could soon have a curfew.
Mayor London Breed proposed the idea on Tuesday aiming to crack down on illegal drug markets.
The ordinance would require liquor stores, smoke shops and corner markets to close from midnight to 5 a.m.

Three men charged with drug dealing in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood was extradited back from Honduras, federal officials announced Tuesday.
This would affect businesses located between O’Farrell and McAllister, and from Polk to Jones.
The businesses would be fined $1,000 for every hour they do not comply.
If the curfew is passed by the Board of Supervisors, it would be in place for one year under a pilot program.
