Business returns to normal after bomb threat halts operations at Mission Target
MISSION, Kan. (KCTV) – Business has returned to normal after a Memorial Day weekend bomb threat halted operations at the Target in Mission, Kansas.
The Mission Police Department tells KCTV5 News that around noon on Sunday, May 26, emergency crews were called to the Target at 6100 Broadmoor St. after an anonymous call reported a bomb threat.
First responders said the building was evacuated as employees and customers were ushered out to the parking lot. A K-9 unit arrived to search the store for the suspected explosive.
However, police confirmed no bomb had been present in the store and business was allowed to resume as normal.
