Business tidbits: Valle Dorado opens in Terrace Heights, Burger King upgrades

A new brewery and restaurant offering Mexican cuisine has opened in the Terrace Heights area, near the East Yakima Walmart.

Cerveceria Valle Dorado will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, Sept. 28, according the restaurant’s Facebook page. The business recently remodeled the building at 1702 E. Yakima Ave., a location that  formerly housed a car dealership.

The restaurant and brew house serves “Baja Med Style” cuisine and offers various lagers, IPAs, pale ales, stouts and other beer brewed on site, the Valle Dorado Facebook page states.

“We aim to provide consistent, quality food, crisp beers, local wines and imported wines from Valle de Guadalupe,” the owners state.

Indoor seating and a beer garden are available, and it is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
