Thirty new jobs are coming to Glasgow as part of an expansion by a Florida-based company, according to a news release Wednesday.
CAM Construction Services, which is based in Florida, said in the release that its cabinet-making division, Heritage Wood Mills, will open a new facility in Glasgow to produce “a wide range of cabinetry options.” The company is investing $925,000 into the expansion, the news release said.
“This is a significant milestone for our city, and we are committed to providing the support and resources needed to ensure their success,” Glasgow Mayor Joseph Gibbs said.
The news release said CAM Construction Services chose Glasgow “due to its workforce, pro-business environment, and proximity to customers.” The facility is expected to open sometime in 2025.
“We’re excited to bring our operations to Glasgow, creating jobs and strengthening local manufacturing while enhancing our ability to serve customers throughout the region,” CEO of CAM Construction Services Clint Jacobs said in the release.
