Candice Brathwaite Shares Her Fitness Journey for Peloton | LBBOnline
Director Daisy Gaston and Lowkey Films team up with Peloton for their latest Member Stories featuring author, advocate and Peloton member Candice Brathwaite. Peloton has been releasing the Member Stories series for a few years now, exploring perspectives from the users themselves on how Peloton has not only transformed their fitness routines and improved their mental health, but has also empowered them outside of workouts.
In this episode Candice, Peloton Member since 2021, talks about finding her true self expression by taming her inner noise through daily workouts. Fitting in a daily workout is demanding, though she’s learned that discipline has helped guide her. She reminds us that it’s not a punishment, it’s a privilege.
This campaign felt particularly personal to Candice who posted alongside the video that she is now on day 538 and in two weeks time her onepeloton app is going to award her with her two year streak badge. She elaborates that this collaboration feels like a trophy.
“I feel so tremendously blessed for all the campaigns I get to be a part of but this one is fuelled by community. From the support on the leader boards to seeing some of you in the streets, you all have held me down and up, when at times some of these new physical challenges have felt a little out of my reach.
With HYROX in the rear view, it’s time to think about the next goal we need to run down. My relationship with Petra (the nickname for my tread) has allowed me to rebuild my confidence in running and remember what you put in, is what you will get out. And although my relationship with long distance efforts ended when I began motherhood, I think it’s time to chase the dream once more.
So with that said, the next stop is the London Marathon 2025.” said Candice Braithwaite.
As with all projects at Lowkey moving forward in 2025, it is a Carbon Neutral Project.
