REDLANDS, CA — A car crashed through the wall of a 24 Hour Fitness in Redlands and drove straight into the gym’s swimming pool over the weekend, according to authorities.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 27000 block of San Bernardino Avenue, according to the Redlands Fire Department, which added the driver was the sole occupant and suffered only minor injuries. The pool was empty and no one at the fitness center was hurt.

Video of the scene shows the vehicle almost completely submerged in the pool and a massive hole in the wall.
