Cardi B Is a Walking Bouquet in This Funky Floral Dress

Cardi B was a floral flurry as she stepped out in New York City for the Marc Jacobs Autumn 2024 show.

For the occasion, which embraced glitzy maximalism, the rapper wore a voluminous dress covered in pale yellow, cream, and lavender oversized pansies. White ostrich feathers poked out from in between the flowers, mimicking floral stamen. With a multitude of airy layers, the dress flounced as Cardi walked, making her look all that more like a delicate bouquet.

Her floral look was complemented by some signature Marc Jacobs touches. Coordinating with the yellow colors of her dress, she wore a pair of knit, canary yellow tights, which also matched her translucent yellow sunglasses. Her finishing touch was a pair of strappy white Kiki boots—a staple of the designer’s—that she precariously showed off on the steps of the New York Public Library, where the show was held.

Cardi embraced the ‘60s theme of the fashion show with a beehive-style updo from the era, complete with bold, face-framing bangs. While her rectangular sunglasses shaded her eyes, she wore a pink lip contoured by a brown lip liner. A nude manicure finished off her look, and at one point, the rapper even compared nails with Marc Jacobs himself—who boasted his own extravagant, bedazzled manicure.

This isn’t the first time Cardi has worn an all-over floral look, either. In 2019, she stepped out for Paris Fashion Week wearing a head-to-toe floral ensemble that covered not just her face, but literally every inch of skin on her body. She even admitted to not being able to see while wearing the over-the-top outfit, telling the paparazzi to direct her walking.
