Catch the Pokémon World Championships at Hawaii Convention Center through Sunday
A very fast and clever someone will be winning $2 million at the 2024 Pokemon World Championships at Hawaii Convention Center on Sunday, Aug. 18. The best trainers and players from around the world are competing for prizes and Pokémon world champion titles.
This prize pool is the highest in the Championship Series circuit. Competition is from 8 a.m. through 9.p.m. Aug. 16 through 18 at the Convention Center. For more info, click here.
At last year’s competition in Yokohama, Japan, a reported 10,000 competitors attended.
Attendees will be able to purchase exclusive merchandise, meet VIP streaming content creators, card artists, famed trainers and YouTube stars.
The competition can also be viewed online.
For younger kids or those not gaming, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, there are Great Lawn Activities available Aug. 16 through 18 from 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. at no cost. Activities include character meet-and-greets, drawing lessons, face painting, lawn games and surfboard decorating.
