MADISON – Residents should mark their calendars to save the date for Celebrate Madison 2024 on Oct. 24.
“Excitement is building for our city’s premier annual event. This year’s celebration will take place at Toyota Field and promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with community spirit, local pride and fun,” according to a release from Madison Chamber of Commerce.
“Celebrate Madison is a special event for our community, showcasing the strength and unity that define Madison,” Michelle Epling said. Epling is President of Madison Chamber of Commerce.
Gates will open at 6 p.m.
“Presented by Meta, Celebrate Madison will feature a range of activities designed to bring our community together. The first 300 guests will receive a free hot dog, soda and ice cream — an added treat to kick off the festivities,” the release stated.
Mayor Paul Finley will share the latest achievements, projects and updates for Madison. This session offers a unique way to learn about the city’s progress and plans, while instilling a renewed sense of pride, the release stated.
At Celebrate Madison, residents can shop locally at the Vendor Showcase along the concourse and explore a diverse range of goods and services from local businesses.
The audience can expect numerous surprises, including live music, appearances by actors and actresses from Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy, excellent photo opportunities and face painting.
Signalink, the event’s Military Family Sponsor, will recognize a deserving, local military family for their service and dedication. To nominate a family, visit cognitoforms.com/madisonchamberofcommerce/militaryfamilyoftheyearapplication or celebratemadison.com.
Signalink owners Steve and Alice Lessmann expressed their enthusiasm for the event. “As a veteran-owned business, Signalink is proud to sponsor Celebrate Madison’s Military Family,” the Lessmanns said. “We understand the sacrifice of not only service members but their families as well.”
“That’s why we count it as a privilege to celebrate and support them. Their commitment to our country, city and community deserves recognition, and we’re glad to play a part in it,” the Lessmanns said.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Signalink to honor our military families and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our city,” Epling said.
A stunning fireworks display will cap off the evening. Huntsville Utilities is the sponsor. The Madison chamber believes it’s the perfect way to end a night of celebration and community spirit.
“A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all our sponsors, partners and community members whose support makes this event possible, reinforcing our collective commitment to the vibrancy of our community,” Epling said.
