CES 2025: Anker Solix's New Electric Cooler, Solar Umbrella and Portable Chargers Keep the Fun Going Outdoors
Summer fun may not be on your mind right now in the depths of winter, but that hasn’t stopped Anker and its Solix brand from showcasing a variety of new outdoor products that it’s calling “portable essentials.” The lineup, unveiled at CES 2025, includes a battery-powered electric cooler, a solar umbrella and a variety of chargers and portable power banks, along with a tantalizing hint about the Anker E15 robot lawnmower.
Anker Solix EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler
Keeping food and drinks cool on the go is a challenge in the summer, even if you have a portable cooler because ice melts over time. The Anker Solix EverFrost 2, the successor to Anker’s first EverFrost, aims to solve this, because it’s not just a cooler, but an electric cooler that works with a detachable 288Wh LFP battery to provide air cooled refrigeration on the go. With the included battery, you get up to 52 hours of cooling time with the option of adding a second battery to get 104 hours of runtime.
The cooler maintains temperatures between -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and according to Anker, it cools 30% faster than regular non-electric portable coolers when fully loaded. When not being used by the cooler, the battery can double as a power bank with 60W USB-C charging and 12W USB-A charging ports. You can recharge with various options, including a 100W solar umbrella (more on that below), AC, car socket and USB-C.
The design is also portable with 6-inch wheels, a fold-down tray that doubles as a handle and an IPX3 waterproof rating. It’s available in three sizes: a 23L, 40L and a larger 58L version. The 58L version notably features two separate compartments, letting you freeze and cool different items at the same time or separate food and drinks.
Uniquely, the cooler can also be monitored remotely with the Anker app, allowing you to adjust settings and monitor temperature. Pre-orders of the 40L and 58L will begin Feb. 21 through Anker.com, with retail availability starting March 7. The 23L model is expected to launch later in the second quarter of 2025.
Anker Solix Solar Umbrella
The Solix solar-powered umbrella is designed to pair with the EverFrost 2 cooler, but it’ll also work with various Solix portable power stations, including the C300 DC, C800 Plus and C1000.
The solar umbrella is foldable and portable, with “Perovskite solar cells,” which gives it 30% better solar power generation in bright light and doubles efficiency in low light conditions. The umbrella supports a 100W output through the XT-60 and USB-C ports. The solar umbrella will be available in the summer of 2025.
Anker 140W Charger
Portable chargers aren’t quite as exciting as some of the other products in Anker’s lineup, but Anker’s new 140W charger stands out because it’s the first to feature a digital display. That’s a feature we commonly find in portable power banks like the Anker 737 and power stations. The digital display provides real-time temperature monitoring and shows the total power output for each port to make tracking the charging status of various devices easier.
The charger has 3 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port. It also has vertical-facing ports, making cables less likely to slip out. The 140W charger is now available directly from Anker and Amazon for $89.99.
Anker 25K Power Bank
For those who need to charge on the go, Anker has you covered with the Anker 25K power bank. As the name suggests, it has a 25,000mAh capacity and can output 165W to charge multiple devices simultaneously. It has three USB-C ports and one USB-A port and a pair of built-in retractable USB-C cables that are 11.8 inches and 27.2 inches, respectively.
It supports PD 3.0, letting you charge a 13-inch MacBook Air (M3) 1.3 times, an iPhone 16 up to 4.5 times and a MacBook Pro 16-inch (M3) to 50% in 33 minutes. There’s a TFT color display that provides data, including total output power, individual power output for each port, temperature of the power bank and estimated recharging time.
The Anker 25K power bank is available now for $99.99 through Anker and Amazon.
Eufy Robot Lawn Mower E15
Unfortunately, Anker was fairly tight-lipped in its CES 2025 press release about the E15 lawnmower. All we know about it so far is that it uses Eufy V-FSD and supports “next-gen intelligent hands-free lawn maintenance,” which suggests AI to us.
