Charlie XCX Slams Fans For Shouting “Taylor Swift Is Dead”

Charli XCX spoke sternly to some fans at a recent concert in Brazil as they were chanting, “Taylor Swift is dead.” The singer, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, was playing a set at a nightclub in São Paulo when fans began chanting the phrase. In reaction to the fans’ behavior, Charli, 31, shared a response to the footage via Instagram. “Can the people who do this please stop. Online or at my shows. It is the opposite of what I want and it disturbs me that anyone would think there is room for this in this community. I will not tolerate it” said XCX in the video. Since releasing her latest album, ‘Brat,’ fans have speculated that some lyrics contain references to Swift.
