Chicagoans take to the runway for Trans Media Fashion Show – Windy City Times

On Oct. 17, FashionBar CEO Tony Long and the Vernita Gray Council for Philanthropy presented the Seventh Annual Trans Media Fashion Show.

The sold-out event took place at the FashionBar headquarters on the third level of Water Tower Place, 835 Michigan Ave., with Zahara Bassett serving as emcee and DJ Areana providing a musical backdrop. The event was part of Fashion Week which ran through Oct. 20. The event benefited Howard Brown Health and its Broadway Youth Center. 

FashionBar is an arts incubator which provides services in the fashion design industry locally, nationally and globally. The organization provides end-to-end services in fashion business consulting, design and development in custom garments and pattern fashion collections.
