Chiefs check-in: Top stories, headlines for October 26

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8 with a chance to keep their undefeated season intact.

As the only unbeaten team remaining in the NFL, the Chiefs will have a target on their backs in Sunday’s pivotal AFC West showdown, and as Kansas City attempts to achieve the league’s first-ever Super Bowl three-peat, the team will lean on newly acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to give Andy Reid’s offense a boost.

Though the Chiefs’ matchup against Las Vegas would otherwise seem like an easy win for the defending champions, Kansas City’s roster has been plagued with injuries that could affect the team’s performance in Week 8.
