Chiefs WR feels the holiday ‘shopping sprint’ pressure in new commercial

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The holiday shopping sprint is in full swing, and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy also feels the pressure.

Worthy ran a 4.21 second 40-yard sprint at the NFL Combine which earned him the nickname the “fastest man in the NFL Combine.”

Now he’s using that speed to dash through the aisles at Dick’s Sporting Goods in a new commercial.

The ad features Worthy running through the store while shopping for the winners of a Dick’s Sporting Goods holiday shopping spree. The winners each get $2,500 worth of gifts from their dream holiday list.

The Chiefs rookie then delivered the special gifts, all at a record speed.

“Oh my God, it’s Xavier Worthy,” one young Chiefs fan said when Worthy showed up at his door.

Worthy then pointed out that he wore a Travis Kelce No. 87 shirt.

“We’re gonna have to get you a No. 1 jersey,” Worthy said.
