Chubby Checker will perform in central Pa. in the spring: Where to buy tickets

Chubby Checker performed “The Twist” on American Bandstand in 1960.

The song hit No. 1 on the charts that year and again in 1962.

Fans can hear Chubby Checker in central Pa. in the spring. He will perform on Friday, March 28, 2025, at American Music Theatre in Lancaster. Special guest will be Chris Ruggiero.

“Chubby Checker is the only artist to have 5 albums in the top 12 all at once. In those days, each album had 12 songs so that means he had 60 songs in the top 12 on the album charts all at the same time. He is the only artist to ever have nine double-sided hits at the same time,” according to a news release from the theater.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 18, for prices ranging from $49 to $79.
