Cincinnati beer claims No. 1 IPA in the World
CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Cincinnati’s MadTree Brewing Company has claimed the title of No. 1 IPA worldwide.
The announcement comes after the Tasting Alliance World Beer Competition, in which MadTree presented its Holly Days beer, a spruce tip IPA.
Thousands of beers were entered into the competition, but Holly Days came out on top.
“This isn’t just a win for MadTree; it’s a win for Cincinnati and the entire Midwest brewing scene,” said Kenny McNutt, MadTree Co-Founder. “This award is also a testament to the passion, creativity, and skill of our brewers.”
Unfortunately for beer enthusiasts, Holly Days will not be available until October. However, MadTree is offering its year-round brew, Seeing Colors, which is currently the “fastest-growing IPA in Greater Cincinnati.”
